The professional collection in the Media Center contains many valuable resources regarding curriculum, classroom management, professional growth, and personal growth.  Materials may be checked out by staff members for four weeks.  Staff members are always encouraged to make suggestions for specific materials to be added to the collection.

The Media Center houses a variety of professional journals for teachers in all areas of interest/need.  Currently the available titles are: 

The GCPS Professional Library Collection is located in Media & Information Services at the Instructional Support Center.  The professional collection's electronic catalog can be accessed from any GCPS computer.  Simply open a Web brower, type in http://media.  Scroll down to Library Catalogs, and click on GCPS Professional Library.  Books and professional journals circulate for a period of three weeks.  See your media specialist for more details.
